Spotlight Toowoomba is a family owned and operated Australian business with stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Spotlights founders learned about fabrics by working at their family stall at Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market in the early 1970's. Their strong drive and business acumen led them to opening their first Spotlight store in Malvern in September of 1973, and have grown from strength to strength ever since. As Spotlight's presence has grown, so has our range of products. Spotlight has over one hundred stores across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, with hundreds of brands and thousands of products to choose from. When you head into a Spotlight store you can find almost everything you need to kit out your home. Kitchen and dining spaces, lounge and bedrooms, bathrooms and laundries are all covered by your local Spotlight store. Our ranges of haberdashery and craft have expanded, and our party section can provide you with all of the decorations and costumes you need for your next celebration. In 2014 we have started the unrolling of our new online store, so that our customers can get anything they need as well as expert advice when they can't get to a store. Spotlight has come a long way from the family fabric stall at the Queen Victoria Market, and we have not lost the personal touch, affordable prices and attention to quality which makes us one of the most beloved stores in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

The Wilsonton Community Art Gallery was established in response to the feedback received from our local community, indicating a significant demand for a community-focused art space. The existing large galleries in Toowoomba primarily catered to professional artists with large exhibitions, leaving a gap for local artists and emerging talent. In 2014, a group of dedicated volunteers from the Heights Community Centre joined forces with the cooperation of the Wilsonton Shopping Centre to create a non-profit, volunteer-run art gallery right within the shopping center. This collaboration allowed the Wilsonton Community Art Gallery to come to life, providing a platform for artists of all backgrounds to showcase their work and enrich the cultural landscape of our community.

Chain Reaction Qld started out as a hobby, not intended as a business at all. With interests in beaded jewellery and silversmithing as a hobby I was looking to source different suppliers for variety and pricing that wasn't currently available. Often friends dropping in for a coffee with similar interest would ask - Do you have a spare strand of these beads? Do you think you could find these for me? Others would see my creations and over the years many custom pieces have been admired and sold from the kitchen bench! Lol! From there it just got busier, we now stock everything from card making and scrapbooking, embellishments to quilling papers, all beading supplies with beads by the strand and the gram, sterling silver and silversmithing supplies.... hence the name Chain Reaction!! Our foundation is to make hobby crafts like beading, resin, card making and even silversmithing affordable and enjoyable to all.
