The diverse ecology of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is my inspiration to create mainly mixed medium expressionistic work using mark-making as a means of conveying the sensitivity of the work. My career has been in Marketing and Advertising working Internationally. After emigrating to Australia 16 years ago whilst working as a Business Consultant I studied Visual Art part-time. After several years of formal studies my career evolved into a full time occupation - furthering studies in ceramics, print-making and life drawing. Dan Davie is an Artist Blacksmith and Sculptor. He is the creator of a large range of hand forged sculpture and metal artwork which includes knives, gates, trophies, balustrades and swords and very large life size sculptures like horse and rider, Emu and Miners and the like. Handmade life like metal sculpture for both inside and out. Dan is a two time World Champion Creative Blacksmith.
