What do you need to bring to an aquatic centre?
You’ll need appropriate swimwear and a towel, and a swim cap, drink bottle and goggles are recommended, if you choose.
Are swimming squads open to anyone?
Most aquatic centres, pools or clubs with squads will hold open trials to join a team so you’re best checking with a pool near you.
Are aquatic centres open during winter?
Many aquatic centres have heated pools and will be open during winter, but you’re best checking your local pool’s trading hours before visiting.
