I recently took a 60 year old Japanese carved wooden coffee table to Jamie at Newcastle French Polishing to be restored to its original condition. It was brought back from Asia in the 1960s. It had been neglected and even painted black over the years. Jamie did an amazing job of stripping and restoring it back to what it looked like originally all those years ago.
