Carers NT provides support to unpaid family carers by providing quality services to carer families and advocating on behalf of carers. Our services include emergency respite; information; counselling; emotional support; and carer education. Our services are usually free of charge to carers. Carers NT bases its services on research in the field of Positive Psychology. We are dedicated to assisting our clients to maximise their happiness.

Alzheimer's Australia provides a wide range of innovative programs giving information, support, training, education and counselling to people with dementia, their families and careers as well as health professionals.

CareFlight is Australia's leading critical care aeromedical charity transporting over 5000 critically ill or injured babies, children and adults throughout Australia each year. CareFlight is incorporated as a public company. CareFlight commissions its first helicopter, a Squirrel AS350B (VH-HCF). Andrew Withers, 14, and his sister Heidi, 11, become CareFlight’s first helicopter patients following a car crash. They are flown from Lithgow to Westmead and both make a full recovery. NSW Premier, Barrie Unsworth MP, officially opens the CareFlight Service.
