Whiddon is an award-winning, not-for-profit organisation that has been caring for older Australians across NSW and QLD for over 70 years. We've grown from philanthropic origins to a large organisation, with over 2300 employees caring for more than 2400 residents and clients. Our services include residential aged care, community care and independent living villages. As an organisation that operates in regional, rural and remote areas, we are often at the heart of our local communities, both as an employer and as an important provider of aged care services, and we actively promote and maintain this sense of community where everyone matters.

Byron Aged Care is a not for profit residential aged care facility centrally located in Byron Bay. Since Byron Aged Care inception in 1972 the facility has provided quality aged care for older persons in the area with a focus on individual needs. The facility has 38 single ensuite rooms opening onto a wide verandah with garden outlooks. There are a number of grass and garden areas throughout the grounds for residents, families and friends to sit. Byron Aged Care has achieved full accreditation at each assessment and is continuously working to improve the range of services and choices available for residents. We are committed to providing individualised care in a safe and friendly environment.
