Hunter Care Group was the brainchild of our CEO Jarrod Burns. Having worked in the disability support industry for years, he was frustrated by seeing both clients and staff treated poorly – and he set out to change things for the better for everyone. Today, we’re a young, energetic, fresh-thinking team of mental health and disability support specialists on a mission to shake up the industry. We want participants to live life as comfortably and proactively as possible and staff to be happy in their work. We’re currently one of the largest NDIS providers in the Hunter region – with the potential to grow nationwide. However, expansion will only happen when we’re 100% confident we can still deliver the same high level of reliable, consistent and individualised support.

Mayfield Aged Care has been providing aged care services in the Hunter region since 1982. We understand the stresses and pressures placed on families as you seek suitable accommodation for your loved ones as their health begins to fail them. In January, 2009, we opened our high care extra service facility. The home has been fully designed to be environmentally friendly and is surrounded by tranquil courtyards and landscaped gardens where our residents and their families can relax and wander. Advanced Hearing Care can properly assess your hearing and offer you helpful guidance if hearing loss is detected. We provide hearing tests and are government accredited to provide free hearing services to eligible pensioners and veterans. Our hearing tests also include pre-employment and compensation hearing screenings. With clinics in Belmont, Gloucester and Cardiff, we cover Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas including Hamilton, Swansea and Charleston. We also do home visits. We supply and service all major brands and styles of hearing aids, and also provide custom made swimming and musician earplugs. Hearing loss develops gradually over years. The severity of your hearing loss is not something that is immediately obvious to you. The first time your concern is aroused might be after more than one of your family or friends brings it to your attention. A hearing assessment at Advanced Hearing Care is carried out painlessly, using state-of-the-art equipment and each assessment takes about 45 minutes. Once the hearing assessment is done, we explain the results for you and if your situation warrants, we will advise you on the options available to improve your hearing and your quality of life.
