Every day, our team hits the streets and dedicates countless hours to sourcing, gathering, and making available millions of pieces of hyperlocal information.

From events and markets, to amenities and businesses, to tide reports and takeaway joints - we're placing the perfect local lifestyle at your fingertips.

It's not our work life, it's our life's work.

Localsearch is the brainchild of 4 mates, fed up with vague, out-of-date information on local businesses and communities. Looking for an alternative to broad phone books they created region-specific directories with actual local relevance. That was back in 1993. Fast forward over two decades, add in constant refinement, and today we're a data-rich, hyperlocal information company that also happens to make great search products.

In 2016, our 140+ employees and 80+ sales consultants assisted 12 million online search of 1.7 million regional Australian businesses via our mobile app and website. These searches were also backed by our 3 million local phone directories. And the best bit? We're 100% privately (and locally!) owned and growing. Meaning we truly understand - and wholeheartedly support - over 200 regional Aussie towns across QLD, NSW, the NT, and northeast VIC. With more coming soon.

Build Your Online Reputation

The aim of our game is to help you build and nurture your reputation online. We focus on optimising your business profile so your customers actively engage with you. Lead by your input, our SEO experts will create your Google, Yahoo!, and Bing friendly profile to make sure your business shows up where it counts.

Be At Your Customers' Fingertips

We've built the most up-to-date, comprehensive app to service 200+ regional Aussie towns. And to place the perfect local lifestyle at people's fingertips. Hundreds of thousands of people use the app to discover stacks of amazing events, more grassroots info than ever before, and amazing businesses like yours.

Profit From The Power Of Print

Compact and complete, our 3 million innovative directories are area-specific and chock-a-block full of local businesses. People also use them to find residential phone numbers, emergency info, parks and reserves, international dialing codes, up-to-date street maps, postcodes, community services, and government info.
