About Southern Stairs

Southern Stairs have been manufacturing and installing timber stairs in the Wollongong region since 1982, with showrooms in Sydney and Towradgi. During this time we have worked on many homes, building a reputation as the most reliable stair builder and fitter in Sydney. As well as installing timber stairs, we can also fit your stairwell with timber stainless steel balustrades. Timber balustrades can be turned, painted or varnished to achieve the ideal colour result, while our polished stainless steel balustrades are also very popular due to their minimalist and clean look. Our other services include manufacturing and installing custom-made timber screens, including timber privacy screens. Our range of decorative screens are ideal for gardens and fencing panels, while our timber privacy screens can be made to suit your specifications. Southern Stairs are also an attic ladder specialist, building custom-made ladders for easy access. These ladders are custom-made to your exact needs and are fully collapsible, with heavy-duty parts to ensure smooth unfolding and collapsing with each use. Southern Stairs recently did my motherâ€™s stair renovation and did an amazing job. Doing renovations is stressful enough, but having Southern Stairs do the stairs was a dream come true.
